Drama Begins

Drama is causing a stir this year as the winter play is about to start. Everyone at Bonar Law Memorial is in an up roar over the new play called "The Baddest Angel Band". Mrs. Ketch as well as Ms.Gallivan will be running the show this year and we only can hope everything will go as smoothly as last year's event. All shows will happen on December tenth, eleventh, and twelfth.

Auditions this time will be October twentieth at 3:30p.m to 4:30p.m in the theater. ‘Everyone is to have a monologue prepared as this is how you will be picked for roles’.

This year's play is not just a play; you will see fantastic performances by the improv team and percussion ensemble throughout the evening. Although parts have not yet been given out nothing is stopping the general excitement that is throughout the entire area. Everyone cannot wait until the nights of the performances arrive.

Who knew a play could easily become a fundraiser? Mrs. Ketch says, "All proceeds from the event will go towards sending the improv team to their regional competition". Now that is taking something good and making another thing great. Let's give them our cheers and hopes on a win.

We all need to support the staff and students involved during this stressful time. They need our help if they are to succeed at this. We as the audience need to show our thanks and tell them well done on their performances. All hope goes out to the performers for their big debut that is soon to come
