General
-The site makes use of a number of modern web technologies and is therefore best viewed with Internet Explorer 7+, Firefox 3+ or Safari 3+
-With the addition of such features as geotagging the site is now fairly heavy with JavaScript. Your experience will benefit from using a browser that processes JavaScript efficiently such as Firefox 3+ or Safari 3+.
-The site will function with older browsers but you may experience cosmetic glitches.
-The site is designed for screen resolutions of 1024x768 or higher.
-You must be logged in to view and search all the available content.
-If you are logged in and receive a "file not found" or "access denied" error when trying to view some content please contact Graham graham.bateman@gnb.ca
Videos
-The Flash player is required to view videos. It can be downloaded here.
-Here is a summary of the various Flash player controls:

-The quality of the videos will vary especially in fullscreen mode. This is due to variations in the quality of the original source videos.
-You can embed videos on your own website by placing the "embed code" for a particular video in your html code.

Images
-The default view for images presents them in a grid.

-If you click on the thumbnail of an image, a larger version will pop up with a lightbox effect.

-In most cases when you are viewing an image on its dedicated page you are viewing a scaled down version. To see the original image simply click the "Original" link. The original image will probably be quite large and may take some time to download.

SMART Notebooks
-The vast majority of SMART Notebooks can only be viewed by logging in.
-The download link for each notebook is found on each notebook's dedicated page under "Notebook file"

-SMART notebooks can be viewed using the Notebook interactive viewer
Audio
-Just like video files, the Flash player is required to listen to audio. It can be downloaded here.
-The audio player starts in a minimized form. To expand it and begin playing simply click on it.

-Once expanded here are the player's controls

Documents
-Documents may be Adobe Acrobat or Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, or Publisher files.
-The download/view link for each document is found on its page under "Document"

-To view Adobe Acrobat files you will need to have Adobe Reader
-If you don't have Microsoft Office you can view those documents with Microsoft Office Viewers
