Parade of lights
It’s finally December! Which means Christmas! This Friday, to kick of the Christmas festivities in Miramichi, we are having our annual parade of lights in Chatham. There will be lots of local businesses with pretty decorated floats giving out candy and playing music. Although it’s getting cold out, everyone should still come out and celebrate the Christmas season. The parade will start at James M. hill school and go down to Water Street and back up Lobban ave.
Every year a group from James M. hill decorate a float to put in the parade. Ms. Wheaton is usually in charge, and they are always over the top and look amazing. Everyone puts a lot of time and effort into making their floats, so I guarantee you won’t be disappointed. The parade is designed for people of all ages, but I notice little kids have an exceptionally good time going, because at the end of the parade, that last float always has Santa on it.
Everyone clear your schedules for Friday December 4th and come on out to the parade of lights. Bring your friends and find a spot on Water Street, and enjoy the parade.
